# Muzzmi > A map of halal food and masjids: restaurants, grocers and butchers with their halal status, masjids, prayer times and a barcode scanner for packaged food. Web app and iPhone app, free to use. Muzzmi lists places in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Every food place carries one of five statuses: certified zabiha (a named certifier with a public roster lists the outlet, linked on the page), hand slaughtered (claimed), halal (claimed), partially halal, or unverified. Certifier rosters (HMS, HFSAA, HMA, HMC) are re-read weekly. Other sources are OpenStreetMap (ODbL), places researched by Muzzmi from each business's own website, and member submissions, which are reviewed before publishing. Muzzmi does not copy other directories. ## Main pages - [Map](https://muzzmi.com/): the live map; opens on the visitor's area and filters by kind and status - [Cities](https://muzzmi.com/c): every city with ten or more places, grouped by country - [Is it halal?](https://muzzmi.com/halal): which chains serve halal food, location by location, and every outlet the zabiha certifiers HMS, HMC and HMA list - [Prayer times](https://muzzmi.com/prayer): daily prayer times and qibla for the picked city - [Halal scanner](https://muzzmi.com/scan): scans a packaged food barcode and screens the ingredient list - [About](https://muzzmi.com/about): how places are checked and where the data comes from - [Add a place](https://muzzmi.com/add/place): submit a missing restaurant, shop or masjid ## Data pages - Place pages, https://muzzmi.com/p/: one page per restaurant, grocer, butcher or masjid with status, certifier, address, hours, contact and reviews.
